Mathew 7:7 NLT
“Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.
Pursue It! — vigorously chase after
As we step into 2026, we believe this is a year to Pursue It—
Matthew 7:7 says to Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be will be opened to you.
It is time to pursue God like never before, whether it is a relationship, a marriage, a lost one, healing, forgiveness, joy, or finances.
Pursue it means to actively and persistently strive for something. Meaning don’t just hope for something, but vigorously chase after it.
We are not just going to talk about it, we are to find a scripture to stand on, we are going to pray, fast, worship, and speak it till it is manifested.
Steps to Pursue It:
#1 Scripture —
1. Standing Means Treating God’s Word as the Final Authority
2. Standing Means Speaking the Word, Not Just Knowing It
3. Standing Means Acting on the Word Even Before You Feel It
4. Standing Means Resisting Every Lie With Truth
5. Standing Means Remaining Until God Moves
DAILY ACTION STEPS:
1. Read the Word
2. Receive the Word
3. Repeat the Word
4. Respond to the Word
5. Rest in the Word
#2 Pray —
Laws of Prayer
Prayer must be a PRIORITY
You must have a set TIME to pray
You must have a set PLACE to pray
#3 Fast —
Make fasting a part of your lifestyle, not just the first part of the year.
Fasting isn’t meant to be limited to a single season—it’s a spiritual discipline that can strengthen your walk with God all year long. Beyond a church-wide fast, consider making fasting a regular rhythm in your life. You might fast one meal when you’re seeking clarity, choose a weekly fast to stay spiritually aligned, or set aside a monthly fast as you continue to pursue it!
Fasting helps quiet distractions, sharpen your focus, and deepen your dependence on Him and it must be a regular part of our spiritual walk with God!
