Day 25: Healing in Confrontation

Day 25: Healing in Confrontation
Read the remainder of Chapter 13

Healing in confrontation can be dangerous. Too many people interpret this to mean that they should let others know when they have offended them. Many times people are unaware that they have even done anything to offend you and confronting them can actually make things worse. This is not what the scripture means nor is it what John Bevere is saying. Bevere went to the person with a gift and repented of his attitude. He didn’t mention why he had an attitude or why he was offended. He simply asked for forgiveness for his bad attitude. Be careful with this. Repent and make things right in your heart first. Make sure God is telling you to go to the person and make sure you do it the right way. It is your attitude that is being corrected, not what they have done.
