His Healing Power: Chapters 5-8

At Calvary, the site of Jesus’ death and ultimate sacrifice, we find forgiveness, peace, healing, prosperity, and victory over death and any thing else we may find lacking. His name alone reveals that He meets every need we may have. Jehovah, our redemption. Redeeming all the enemy took from us. Just look at the list:

Jehovah-Rapha: The Lord that heals

Jehovah-Jirah: The Lord that provides

Jehovah-Nissi: The Lord our banner

Jehovah-Salom: The Lord our peace

Jehovah-Ra-ah: The Lord our shepherd

Jehovah-Tsidkenu: The Lord our righteousness

Jehovah-Shanmah: The Lord is present

All that God promised us on Calvary through Jesus has to be applied to our lives by our faith. Calvary removes all the obstacles in our life that would prevent the power of God from operating. The Word works but is conditional upon our diligent hearing and faithful obedience.

How sweet are your loving promises to me, sweeter than honey is your revelation-light. Psalm 119:103

With that understanding we can enter into what Dr. Yeoman’s calls “The Praise Cure” She describes all the methods of modern medicine used in hopes of curing or halting disease. “And I am far from saying nothing is accomplished by these and other methods, but I do say that the cure of which I am going to speak is the only sure cure. it is the most expensive one ever known, but the price was paid for by another; for ‘it was purchased, not with corruptible things, as silver or gold….but with the precious blood of Christ….” p. 47

It is called the praise cure because you sing your way into it! Sing and shout your way into health. What are you waiting for? Don’t delay, begin right now.

Tread the young lion under your feet by the praise of faith. It has never failed and it never will. p. 51

Make your praise basket more full than your complaining basket.

Start by repeating this: “Christ has redeemed me from the curse of the law, of which ____________ (insert your sickness, pain, or disease here) is a part, so Christ hath redeemed me from ___________.”

Now begin to shout and praise Him! Victory is yours!

Love,

Pastor Lisa
